I have decided to start a new project called the Nailhead Products Division (or NPD for short) who's main aim is to foster discussion and eventually production of new Nailhead products and to support those already in production. One place to start is to make thermostat housing gaskets that properly fit. I paid over $80 for a full set of fel-pro gaskets last year and it didn't even come with a correct gasket. I ended up cuttting my own with an exacto knife. I'm sure others are having this same problem. There's one suggestion.:Brow:
That's a good one Joe. It should be fairly easy to organise too. I'll add it to the list. Has anyone else had any trouble with this gasket. I can remember using a Dodge thermostat cover that came with it's own gaskets on my 401. It fit well. Thanks for the good luck John. I'll give it my best shot. I have nothing to loose (except increased bandwidth costs...lol) and I think it's a really good use of the Forum facility. It will depend a lot on the involvement of others but I can't see that talking about with the Nailhead community can do any harm at all.
Thanks Fred. I can supply the forum and the motivation to discuss but it will be up to everyone out there to add their 2 cents worth and do what they can to help. It will still rely heavily on the help and assistance and motivation of others. We'll have to wait and see if anything eventuates but if it doesn't, it won't be from lack of trying.
