Did I ever mention that in 1977 I went to look at 2 of them for sale-- a black 53 and a white 54. The ladies' husband had just passed away and she was selling them. I worried all night about the deal, but decided the next morning that $3200.00 for the pair was too much money!

yes jim i recall that post. who could've guessed ? dont kick yourself too hard, i passed up on a mint white 70 GSX back in 1985 because it was $3500.00 that was alot of money for a car back then. now i just sayou:
