Copy-Cats Parts for the first one, of course. Now I'm thinking of maybe just painting the doors to match the roof, then adding spotlights and revolving a red roof beacon. :bglasses:
Honestly, I would hate to see you part out such a nice lookin' "Cat", but if you do could I have dibs on the front & rear bumpers & the grille & miss. parts that attach to the grille for one of my customers cars. It is also a '65 Cat that has only 35,000 miles on it. She was parked & went shopping & when she came out the grille & bumper were pushed in about a foot. Don't know how the hood got missed. Needless to say she is devistated by this. I feel for this lady as I have known her for 35+ years & her health is failing & the last thing she needed was some BOZO doing this to her pride & joy. Thanks, Tom T.
If you do part it..... Could I get my name in for the steering wheel? If you don't need it, of course! Just PM to let me know. Thanks,
Initially I was planning on swapping a few pieces back and forth from one to the other then re-selling it. That was my intention when I first found it but after getting it here I'm having second thoughts. This thing drives nice and looks decent enough to leave it together, for now. I will keep you all in mind if I do decide to cannibalize it. Now, what about my idea of turning into a patrol car wanna be?? :Brow: Any photoshop-ers out there that can render an artists conception for me?
Man you gotta be nuts to part thar car out. Waaaaay to nice. I've got one in the same shape with a bad frame and i don't even want to part it. Just my opinion, i would keep looking for a real parts car and drive the one you have now. Tom
Love the cop idea! Wildcat4's photoshop looks like a case of the "Fox and the Hound" :3gears: He even has the spot light on it. LOL! Rick
Much too nice to part out. But on the other hand, if you find a real parts car then there are almost no parts you can use. A parts car cant be too bad to be able to supply any donor parts. But that one is just too nice.
Pol-Cat OK, The pursuit for a cruiser-looker is on. :Brow: How about info or photos of Wildcat police cars? o No: Any help finding the neccessary add-ons would be greatly appreciated. :beer My wish list; (period correct) spotlights, rotating red roof beacon, dog dish hubcaps.
I wish I could find a "part car" like this one but I don't think I'd be able to part it out, I drive them in far worse condition than this one is! I haven't found one 1965 Buick with factory A/C locally but I'd like to so I could add it to my Wildcat. Another shot of the cop cat with cop caps :Brow:
