Just called OPGI to see if on a complete whim they would happen to have a high dollar item like a bumper bolt kit on the shelf.

    At least 2-3 weeks.

I'm sorry, but that's a joke. I know the whole overhead yada yada deal. But BUMPER BOLTS? If bumper bolts are gonna set you in the hole to keep on the shelf, then business ain't to smooth.

Where the hell can I get a set of stainless bumper botls where I don't have to wait till the end of the summer to use? :error:

Thanks. National parts depot didn't sound too sure of themselves that they had what I needed (typical, "well yeaaaahhhh I gueeeeees soooooo) kind of response when I asked if these bolts are correct appearing.

Then The parts place says I need a $20 minimum purchase (which doesn't include shipping). :error:

    I love vendors.

I may go with 1A Auto. Anyone ever use them?

They have a kit for sale right here.

1AAuto has been around for a long time. Should be a perfect replacement set. I "thought" all GM A-bodies used the same bumper bolts????

I bought a set of bumper bolts from OPG for my 72 GS Skylark and there book send it will fit my car, they were 1/2 dia. I needed 3/8 so I went to Yearone and there book gives you the dim. of the bolts your looking for before you buy them, so I'm stuck with 1/2 dia. bolts and I think there are just two 1/2 dia bolts in the front bumper.

That's what my buddy says. He says some diameters are different. Who knew?

Trouble is, I'm not sure what diameter I need. :Do No:

I have to try and locate an old one to check.

I live within twenty miles of OPG, have called to check on items, was told they had them, drove over to be told "no, out of stock",
    It won't happen again.

Lowes is huge down south. I don't know where there is one near me in Maine. I would have to get creative. I never noticed a Lowes around here. :Do No:
