sounds cool. How do you say in spanish, cut the down turns down by 80% ou: sucks about the main bearing
Glad to see you got your car running, i sure do love it when you sell someone extra parts and they make good use for them..Good luck..that thing sounds mean.. what was your 1/4 time, also setup... got hp and torque numbers.. have you tried running an x pipe and tailpipes.. it gave me allot of low end torque after i put the new exhaust...it will leave you speachless in my opinion..
What cam is in it?Sounds good,I have a '79 El Camino with the original 305 sbc making rod noises, looks like plenty of room for the Buick mill.Hope that you get it going soon, cool car.
That almost makes me wanna' trade, I am more of a B-O-P guy, but, I have this: with this in it: Oh, and the best part: I haven't taken it to the drags yet, I added a 3.42 posi from an S-10, it had a 2.73 in it. But, I am thinkin' the old rat motor will put the poor stock V-6 Saginaw four gear out all over the drag strip. :TU: By the way, what cam did you use? I got a '78 Skylark with a 455(stone stock '70) I was thinking about the 107 "Window Rattling Lope" cam for it.
I use postons GS113 cam ,rhodes lifters, no wiggle retainers and double row springs. Glad ya like it , i love the sound of it when im at a stop light and it wants to push the car forward on the lobes lol.
