So the other day I am on the road with my 87 GN going to my local shop to change 2 rims that a friend gave me. So anyways i'm on this road that puts you on the left lane of a 3 lane 55 mph rt. So as i'm getting on I see a punk kid in a mustang getting on around same spot as me only in the far right. Ok about 1/4 mile ahead is a red light and for some reason there was 3 or 4 cars stacked in the center lane at the red light. Naturally the light turns green on our approach and I waited to see if he was dumb enought to hit it. So he hit it and after he jumps out like 6 car lenghts and 2 to 3 seconds later at about 16-18 lbs of boost from my TE 63 he was in my mirror and my needle was burried. Luckily there were no police in the area. Nothing like the Buick Power. And the really fast Buick was home in the garage. 464 ina 65.
I haven't done that for like 17 yrs. It was fun. At the next red light I figured we just shoot the breeze for a sec but he pretended to be on the phone. Youngsters.
