It's definitely a pretty car, and it's not priced too badly. As long as it isn't a patched up rust bucket, it looks like a good deal. These things rusted like shipwrecks though, Ford had a real issue with rot until the mid-70s.
I had an elderly neighbor years ago that had the same car, same colors, I used to cut her yard and never saw the car with the top down. I always admired the car and loved the hideaway headlights so one day I asked her if she had ever put the top down, and she said never. She said that she went to buy a coupe in 69 and they didn't have one on the lot in this color, so the salesman made her a great deal on this convertible. She bought it but "would never put the top down as that would be considered too racy, and what would the neighbors think????.... um - ok. This was probably 1978, the car was pretty rotted and to my knowledge she drove it to the junkyard with under 30k and the top had never been down.
