NOS Powershot Installation

I recently bought a Powershot system (125HP) through Jegs. I am installing this system on a 1971 Buick GranSport. The instructions highly recommend running a dedicated fuel line and electric pump for the NOS system in addition to the stock line that feeds the 750 Holley Carb.

I fully intend to do this, because I do not wish to damage my newly rebuilt engine.

However, the stock tank has a 1/4" pick-up tube. I see no benefit in placing a tee at the pick-up and running a seperate line because that 1/4" pick-up will only flow so much. Plus I am afraid an electric pump will pull the fuel from the tank as well as from the carburator fuel line, depriving the carb of fuel when the second Holley electric pump is supplying the nitrous plate.

I contacted Jegs about getting a dual line pick-up for the stock tank and they said the only pick-ups they have is for Mustang tanks.

Anyone got any suggestions? I want something that will accept the stock float system so that my gas gauge will still work as well since this is a streetable ride.

Thanks for your comments and please help!
