Why is the 1969 NOS GS Grille so cheap on Ebay. As of right now it is at $510.06. What's the deal?o No:
Backlash? I don't know... there's still more than a day left, and a lot can happen still. It looks kind of dirty in the photos, to me anyway, like it needs a good cleaning, but no damage I can see. its Not "THAT" cheap......it hasn't met reserve,,,,,all you're seing now is no one willing to pay more than $510 ....yet
That grille may be NOS but look at the condition. There looks like 20 years of dust on it frm being stored in a barn. For a NOS grille to bring top dollar it needs to look like a brand new part.
Grill I threw a bid down on it. You never know when you'll get lucky. It also never hurts to have one sitting back if something happens to yours. As rare as these are in this condition, I don't think you would be hurting yourself in this price range!:Brow:
Dave - you're exactly right it is 20 years worth of barn dust on it. The last thing I wanted to do was break the dang thing while washing it. I decided today to put it in the bath tub and clean it and must say it does look much nicer - maybe I'll end up relisting it..... Not sure where you're coming from Jim Lore the ad states "This is a rare 1969 Buick GS and Stage 1 grille" There's nothing flambouant, dishonest or misleading there.
