New black front floor mats. Some "shelf wear" from storage and handling. End flap with part ID is missing from box. Part number 981689 is handwritten on the shipping label. Tri-shield logo is in black unlike earlier mats and the repros where it is white. 981689 is in the May 72 parts book listed to fit all 1971-1972 models. At that time a different number was shown for 1970 and earlier models. 981689 is in the Dec 75 parts book listed to fit 1961-1964 full-size and Riviera, all 1965-1972, and 1973-1975 full-size and Riviera. Presumably stock of the part previously listed for 1970 and earlier was exhausted. $260 local pickup, near Allentown PA. I’m in-line too but assume Redman will get them. I was too slow. This is a reasonable price in my opinion based on what reproductions cost although wish they were less! Question, did the white wear off or were they made all black? Here are reproductions I was originally going to get. They were made all black. At some point they eliminated the white with all colors, although I don't recall seeing others like this in black.
Sorry, just saw where you explained in 72 there was no white on lettering. Out of line as I want the white lettering.

I just checked my rears and they have white on them. I was going to sell them to you if they were all black. They are in pretty good condition. I am going to buy the reproductions soon I think to replace all of them.
