I do not think it is correct for a 68 or a 69 as stated.

 

I kind of want to bid on it just cause its so nice.

 

correct - both would have the letters B U I C K on the pushbuttons, and '68 would have an argent (silver) background not black

 

It's a 72--didn't meet reserve. Not mine!

Yes it is a 72 but to the best of my belief they are the same 70-72.

 

I lucked out and have a used one thats just as nice as that :laugh:
waiting to go into my 72

 

I had contacted the seller - the reserve was out of my range at $175.

 

I know where there's an NOS one been sitting in a box for the last 15 years:laugh:

Did early model '70 cars have these? Buick on the pushbuttons is kind of neat.

 

No that stopped withthe 69 model year.

Not unless you want to buy one that does not work knowing that you will have to get it serviced.

 

I'll guess that I'll hold off until I save up more money for a working one.
