Gee.... I didn't realize Buick CHANGED the front grille emblems for each year! I was thinking about bidding, it LOOKED like my 71 I had chromed, but it would have been wrong for my car. ou: This guy probably thinks he already hit the LOTO, since HE thought it was a fender emblem and it is at $88 now! I would LOVE to see his face when the auction ends at double that.... :jd:
I thought these were being remade. I have compared a lot of NOS emblems head to head with repros for both Olds and Buick. The NOS ones go downhill with age and almost always the repo looks better at a fraction of the price. Next time you are at a show where someone has both of the same emblem take a look for yourself. What has been your experience?
