  3. Looks kinda ugly to me... I'll stick with my 70-72 style tank. Would be an interesting item to have though. So Bruce, there's 2 of them in WI!

    Will That fit a 65GS?
I want one, and I need one.

  7. It looks like it should fit if you have room for it, appears to just hang on the side of the engine compartment, in front of the passenger wheel well. Maybe someone with a 65 and an overflow can show us a pic of what they are using?

My NOS Overflow kit came with a plain white metal cap, in lieu of the somewhat fancier cap shown in this auction. I have seen two of these bottles in junkers, with the same white metal cap (though in both cases it was rusted out.)

So which is right for which year? Does it matter -- did they make em at the same time w/ different caps? Anybody know?

i've got one of these in the box too....I'll look tonight at the cap.

Whats even more interesting is the bottle iteself is the same thing sold at any autoparts store as a generic overflow bottle.

I think ?? its more of a catch can than a true overflow resevoir as i don't think it feeds back to the rad.....just catches overflow.....but in that picture it looks like there is a feed from the bottom ???

I did a quick look last night and couldn't find it......I'll have time to dig deeper tonight.
