455 year?? One of the pictures shows the casting number on the back, just below the "455". My info says it's a '72 and up motor.
Be aware that those motors have to be taken apart, and inspected. I had one in the shop here, that they nicked the up the number one Rod bearing journal on the crank pretty bad on. WE had to turn the crank in that motor. But it did give us a good standard bore block, to build the prototype level 2 455 from. Just don't expect to clean it up, and drop it in your car, with some heads and intake. Might not be that easy. I have not looked at this one, just offering some experience we had with one, at one time. JW
