I just received an idler arms in the mail from an Ebay purchase. Price was good and shipping fast, but the part looks different than my original. It was listed as a k5142 and looks like the one in the following Ebay advertisement. This is not the seller I bought from, this is just a good photo that shows the type of arm I purchased. Looks like it willl fit, but it is shaped different. Anyone have experience with this style of idler arm from Moog? Will it work on a 65 GS Skylark?

BTW, I paid less than $20 delivered, so I'm not going to get hurt on the transaction.

The aftermarket parts never look quite the same as the originals. In most cases the tie rod ends are a lot bigger, things like that, but they still work fine as long as you are not doing a concours restoration. I've parted out a lot of cars through the years and have always kept any useable original parts, bolts, etc. for use on the concours cars. When I did my own `65 I just bought all new Moog parts for the frontend. It's a driver.
