I am thinking about a Trans temp guage from my 65 skytop wagon
What should the temp be in normal city driving
1 passenger, no air conditioning, 90 degree heat
with the cooling system at 190 degrees, and a 4 tube trans cooler

According to Ron Sessions' TH400 book, the ideal operating temperature for Automatic Transmission Fluid is 175 to 225 F. He also suggests the temp gage sender be installed so that it's checking the temp of the fluid exiting the cooler.
