I was considering purchasing a set of the 70-72 style Noah chrome valve covers when I noticed in a picture that they had three number codes next to the part# that according to Duanes book are date codes. Both these numbers are 422 or something and as there are only 365 days in the year! Well maybe this is picky but I cannot buy them now. ANybody have these? I emailed them and asked if future runs could correct these but I doubt it. I have two sets of original Stage-1 covers as well as several non stage-1 covers and they are all less than 365. I wonder what they based these on? MAybe I will just pay to re-chrome mine.

I bought a pair from them last year and i am very pleased with them. I can check the no's on them to see what is on them if you wish Bill

422 and 423 are ficticious date codes. They were stamped like that on purpose. If you do a search on the boards, you will find the explaination.

Thanks for those answers. "Fiction is stranger than truth". In this case anyway.
