My right stop-turn lights wont come on.Bulbs and sockets are ok.Wies from trunk to lamp housings seem ok. Any ideas?
If you are sure of the bulbs, check the grounds for these sockets. Another possibility is that the turn signal switch is the problem, not allowing voltage to the wiring for these bulbs. When in the neutral position, it allows the brake light switch to control the bulbs. In the tturn position, it allows the flasher to control the bulbs. Ray
I also vote for the turn signal switch. If the tail lights work and both elements in the bulb are good thats about all it can be.
Thanks guys. I kind of wondered if the switch could be the problem. I am wondering if this switch is still available. My car is a 69 skylark.
