No Power To Batt Wire On Dist

    also anybody know why my bat wire on the dist is not getting power. i had the firewall ground loose dont ask me how it got loose and saw sparks coming from the starter 1 night. also my turnsignals dont work but hazards do.the fuse box is not getting power on either side of the fuse, but the engine cranks. and also what wire goes to the rear window defogger relay under the dash. i intalled it myself from the yard, but i cant seem to find the plug. (glass one not the fan).thanks

    i should of done 2 things one state the engine turns, but dont fire and its a 75 electra

    Sounds like your problem is at the firewall connector. Better take another look at that. It's either put on wrong or loose. There is a single bolt through the middle that holds it together. The starter is protected by a fusible link down on the wires on the big bolt on the starter solenoid. Check the fusible links, they may be blown.
