My car has a ford solenoid on it and I went to start it today and nothing. No interior lights, no fuel pumps, but my headlights work. I checked my ford solenoid with the key forward and I have 12 volts on one side but Zero on the other. Is it bad?

hey david :beer i assume you are bypassing the delco solenoid,so,the only time you get power to the other large post is when the key is in the crank position, its not your problem  fuses, fusable links, bad ground/connection,relay etc is what you need to check out.where is your pump supposed to get power?ignition switch?

Offhand I'd say it was a fusible link. There are two, one for the headlights and one for everything else.
