    TA No Hop bars

I had to grind the arm some as it was hitting the top of the rear end and would not seat flush against the ear.

Also had to grind the housing nub. You can see the rust mark and where the grinding hit the web a little. :error:

    What brand ?

What brand are those bars? Some are taller looking from the pumpkin to the upper bushing. I think Edelbrock bars are 3 3/4" and those look about 3" center to center on the topless64 pictures. Also where and how much $. Thanks.

Sorry Mark, the pipe wrench just happen to get thrown on the floor while digging through the tool box and missed out on the action. As you can see its a small pipe wrench but I never leave home without it. The frame was in a storage garage while I put the fuel/brake lines on.

Gary, I bought the TA no hop bars on sale through the BPG sale last fall for I think 130.00. I never measured the spacing but was told they work very well. I have a set of air lift bags to install and the 1 inch sway bar.

Guys have any thoughts on rear shocks? Many street use but need traction for the TSP level 2 motor that is going to be installed this month!!!!!

3.73 gears SP 400 and hopefully 515 hp in a 64 skylark convertible :pp

i notice that some of the no-hop bars use bushings and others don't. is one better than the others? also do the no-hop bars make a difference on a 11 second car over poly bushings? i'm on the fence as to install the poly or nohop bars. thanx mike

    GS Kubisch THE "CUT-UP" BUICK

    I don't think they're worth using........Too many cars going low 1.3 to high 1.2 60 ft's w/o them.
Just re-inforce the stock pieces,Make sure they are not bound,Use an anti-roll device,And look to the torque converter for the 60 ft's :TU:

    control arms; no bind

Try UMI Performance upper arms with QA1 front joints for $189. Better than Edelbrock arms because the have a cusioned linning in the joint to prevent rear end noise from comming into the body. Part number 4017 for 68 up, 4019 for 67 and older. Add polygraphite bushings in pumpkin ears.
