On a plate, can the spray bars be taken out of a plate, and replaced, or put in a different plate, without damaging anything? Are they pressed in, or designed to be removed easily?

It depends onthe maker of the plate. Some of them are threaded at the fitting and then pinned in(compucar), and others threaded at the fitting and epoxied I think. There may be other ways as well.

I don't know why you couldn't put them in a different plate as long as the jets pointed in the same way.

Buicks4Speed has done a lot of different things with them (hopefully he will post). He also pointed out to me that if you get too close to the vacuum port for the power valve the N2O flow can suck the power valve shut.

I think you can get away with a lot of different things but it all depends on how big a shot you want to use. The bigger the shot the more scientific it gets is the short explanation.

    Compucar does custom work.

Never mind. I was EBay bidding on an old NX plate that was 100 - 400hp, and was concidering taking the tubes out and adding them to mine to make it a 2 stage single plate, instead of stacking the 2, but I was out "Snipped". No big deal though, just a thought, and it went cheap, but was alittle more than I had to play with.
