Rick, this is probably more for you, you always tell people to use one......
OK, how close to the flowing fuel pressure should your cutoff/safety switch be??
My NX System says 10psi flowing, for all settings, no problem, I bought a switch that is set at 7 psi, is that too close? I run a seperate fuel system with return regulator, so I figure pressure will be very consistant, even leaning it out. So figuring that if it drops to 7, it will probably be dropping way off and not just a small drop, that would be OK to shutoff the unit.
    What do ya think??

10 PSI?? That is the safe setting, I thought you wanted to go faster? Definitely play with the fuel pressure on the 200HP setting before going to the 300 HP pills. If I remember right 10 is rich, 9 in the middle, and 8 for race. Just make sure to mount the switch at the regulator. If you mount it at the solenoid then it may pulse the system. I would say set the switch at 7.5 psi. I had my switch set within a 1/2 psi and it worked fine. SO how soon before your back racing???

OK, switch will mount right out of the regulator. I'll definatley try leaning out the 200 shot before the 300 is used. I have to finish bleeding the brakes, now 4 wheel Wilwood discs with light weight master cyl. Then get the motor back together, I have to file fit the rings, one of the #2 piston rings had a crack and after talking to JE, my rings showed more wear than a motor with 30 passes on it should have.

Are you replacing all the rings and re-honing the cylinders? What was the top ring gap?? Either detonation got the ring OR the ring gap was too tight and touching. Look real close at pistons the top ring land to make sure it is still square and not beat out.
