Saw this over on the Pontiac forum.. Very nice, simplistic idea to keep bolts and misc small items together...:beer

That is bush league. Throw them in a bag and figure it out later. No challenge that way.

I bet you anything that you could show Dave an original fastener and he could tell you off the top of his head where it goes on a GS with the original part number and what page its on in the assembly manual!

Jason, I have three pages left in the assembly manual to memorize. After that I am going to read that Paul Revere book you recommended.

We used to have several 5 gallon buckets fulla hardware and odds n ends in a shop I worked in. After work we often had a social beer and played the " wat the hell is this?" game. Jim/Rott:D

years ago after rebuilding an engine that spat a piston, after it was all back together and in the car, I was left with 3 very serious bolts. All high tensile, all about 2" long. I have no idea where they were meant to go, worried I fired it up. That motor went on to be one of the most reliable, pain-free, trouble-free motors I've ever had in any car I've owned. To this day I still have no idea where those bolts were meant to go

I thought that if you have parts left over after you finish it just means you put it back together more efficient than the factory? No?
