Sweet looking car. Not crazy about the interior colour, though. Love the fender skirts. I wonder what his reserve is?
Very purrrrrrty, low mileage Cat !! :TU: I think that tan interior goes good with the dark blue metallic, and is a little different than black, or white. About the only thing incorrect is the ralley wheel centre caps. They should be the ribbed cone type with black, Cat inserts. I'd still park it next to the Riviera though !! LOL
Looks real nice, What a great body style Saw the wrong ralley caps too, has the basic interior not the custom low optioned with out air,pwr windows, clock, am only, corner lights etc. Looks like some painting done under hood inner fenders look to shiny to me and red looks like maybe resprayed.I found it odd no pics of the underside of the car. Id have to see in person to believe the mileage claim but it is one of the cleanest interiors Ive seen and the exterior has the nicest bright work Ive ever seen, Id like a couple pieces off it for mine. Id love to own it for the right price and right now at 15 I think its right in there, You couldnt build it for that but its right up at the top of the price range in my opinion for a unrestored car. Some detailing would make it nicer under the hood and the painted parts of the dash look a little worn. To bad it wasnt a loaded car with buckets and a console. And black Interior
I think the color combo looks great.:TU: I too am surprised that the seller didnt post any underbody pics. But it does look like it will going to a new home soon.
The left quarter panel looks a bit darker than the rest of the car and there is over spray on the door striker and windlace. I.m guessing probably just some touch up but that still isn't original paint.
I've never seen a 67 'Cat that did'nt have the "knucke grater" ribbed aluminum trim on the doors.....i really suspect the mileage....kind like that gold 66 GS 'Cat that was for sale a month or two ago.....buyer beware.:Smarty: Peace WildBill p.s.....inner fender splash guards are incorrect....but it is a good looking Wildcat !
Yep, over spray on the driver side windlace, plus the back of the seat. Drivers seat seams are split on a bunch of sections on the seat back panel. Seats shouldnt be split open on a near new 15k milage car Engine was sloppily sprayed red, sometime ago. The black rubber disc on top the valve cover is now red. Dash panels and steering collumm are showing alot of wear for a 15 K car. I have had several very low milage cars that were in much better shape than this one. I have questions on the milage.
I saw this car at the auto auction in Raleigh NC. Car is nice but I too was suspect to the mileage. Underneath was nice but expected it nicer for 15K miles. I saw it go through and sell at the auction.
Great looking car. If I had the cash and bought it 15,000(real or not) miles would soon be 50,000 miles. I wouldn't be able to let it sit. Why have a beauty that you can't drive? Something else, I seem to remember seeing the rubber hole plug on the valve cover painted on many an original engine back in the '70's when you could get a nice engine for $100-$150. But, that was a while ago so my memory may be fading.
Aside from the milage issue, I think it is a great looking Wildcat. I really like the blue/tan color combination.
And for some reason, it's back. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140493959818 Devon
Didnt meet reserve first time around at 18k. I think 18k was strong money for it. And the worst time of year to sell a car. Ive never seen a car do better the second time around on Ebay. My guess is that it only goes up to 12-14k this time
