Nope.Just my opinion.A very nice low miles one was on ebay about a month ago and i think it went to about 1,500 or 1,800 only.

Well, you'd never be able to restore one for that price...ask me how I know  . I'd wave $3000 under their nose and see if they bite.

:Dou: I remember when this genre of cars were introduced .many of my more affluant high school classmates parents bought them for their kids,-monza spyders.cobraII,s,omni 024,s,some turbo fox body's.an olds powered trans am ,and the son of one of baltimore's biggest new car stores got a dodge aspen super coupe, all of the auto shop 'gearheads' had "old outdated gas guzzlers" camaros.cudas,chevelles,[1 69,gs 400.not mine] 69 442.mine etc. I would almost hate to admit to seeing any virtue in a 78 skyhawk to any of my ex classmates. but this car is in remarkable condition and i doubt many more exist in this condition $3800 seems to be the price . Chuck:)

Hey, great, glad you got it. I bought one new for my wife of the time in 78. We ordered it and I spected the optional lowest rear gear ratio and pos. What I didn't think about at the time was the diameter of the tires. It was a low geared son of a gun. Had the "A" evenfired 3.8 and ran well. I thiink we gave 5300 for it. Oh, I ordered the optional suspension packages and it handle good too. Hope you have fun.
