Alan is a great guy and a friend! His car is beautiful and a perfect example of the 76 Pace Car. Mine is not nearly so nice but still original and has a red bench seat interior. It's amazing how different you could get them back in 76!
Those years ('73-'77) were sharp looking Buicks. The only drawback is the MASSIVE/HEAVY doors took their toll on the hinge bushings, no biggie tho, I'd still like one
I was at the '76 Indy race and remember seeing those cool looking cars. The real pace car sounded pretty gnarly as I recall. The race itself sucked; rain, rain, then more rain.
