Nice ones, but this one doesn't fit the bill. The car appears to have the chrome front bumper which someone has painted to match the car. If it is an endura bumper it's not supposed to have that rubber spacer and should be nearly tight to the fenders. If anyone can spot anything that actually fits on the car, please point it out. Appraised for $60,000? Really?
I did notice the front bumper as well. You could get a chrome bumper on a GTO. Just a little GTO fact for everyone. My first car was a 69 GTO. My brother had a 68 GTO bench seat four speed car. Hidden headlights and a factory hood tach.
Not many people know that fact. Pontiac wasn't sure how the Enduro front bumper was going to go over when introduced, so you could have checked a box for a chrome front bumper and gotten a small credit, I believe. Not saying that's the case here, though.
The bad endura bumper fit works with the misaligned hood perfectly LOL. The valance under the bumper is cattywampus as well. The lights look wrong on one side, Ordered as a column shift auto with a bench seat is pretty lame too... Then theres that air cleaner and missing AC stuff 39K??? NWIH...JMHO. Wins the prestigious Ray Charles award every time!
Hey, welcome to the underappreciated world of Buicks. I've seen plain 307 Chevelles (and plain Pontiacs) sell for more than GS big blocks. Crazy
68 bumpers had the Pontiac emblem I think too. I had a couple that were parts cars long ago. They would be desirable Resto projects now and cost much more than the $50 and $200 price tags I paid.
This guy is a little rich on his numbers but its a real GTO, Maybe. The red car guy is huffing JENKEM... ws http://classiccarsmarks.com/pontiac...-convertible-four-speed-air-conditioning.html
