I just happened to see this at the top of the homepage. I recall there was somebody on EBAY with the name something asphalt or asphalt something, can't remember... Rising asphalt? Doesn't sound right. Anyway, this person was buying up some nice NOS parts like crazy! Is this one and the same person? Mr. Asphalt, introduce yourself and tell us what you're working on. It must be something special with all those parts you bought! Brett Slater, you're an Ebay regular, do you recall the Ebay name I'm talking about?
That was Radiant Asphalt. He won a set of nos taillights for a 70 from me and drove the price up to 455.00. I felt bad selling them at that price, but twist my arm!! Bob
Why would someone pay $455 for tailights when they are available repopped for a quarter of that price??? Does NOS really mean that much?
Yardley, Remember those $500 NOS radiator caps,and $700 window crank handles that were on e-bay? A forman at work is a part-time Ford dealer,he recently sold a carb. for $1400.So, it must mean alot.

The $455.00 taillights was probably back in 2001. I still can't believe he actually paid that much. Like I said.. twist my arm. Bob
