Welcome Brian. When you have some time, I recommend familiarizing yourself with the site. It is organized into Forums that deal with different parts of the car. Posting your questions in the correct Forum will go a long way in getting the answers you need. Also, don't buy anything without researching it here. That may help you to avoid mistakes.
Yes, that is one example I have written a number of threads in the FAQ Forum, here are a few examples, https://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/oil-pump-clearances-and-oil-pressure.326597/ https://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/power-timing-your-buick-v8.63475/ Have a look, https://www.v8buick.com/index.php?forums/buick-faq.74/
There is an ENORMOUS amount of information here. If you research a topic using the search engine here, you may not need to ask questions at all.
Like buying a stock brass/Copper radiator that didn't cure my high-water temperatures, but Larry70GS recommended a Griffin Aluminum radiator that worked right out of the box. Can't ever go wrong with Larry's advice and Buick expertise. Vet (Navy)
