Hey there everyone. I am from Houston. I am glad to see all the people that are on this site. My Uncle referred me to look at it to learn more about Buick's and I liked it so much I thought I would join. My Aunt remarried a couple years ago and I started hanging out with my new Uncle. I have to say my Aunt found a winner. She asked my one day to bring a couch by their place. I had never been there before. She told me he had this really cool car. And ofcourse I was 16 at the time, so I was like "Cool car!!! Heck yeah". Then she told me it was a '66 Skylark GS. And I was like. "A Buick". Ofcourse the picture I had in my mind was a grandma's car. I was excited. But she told me he drag raced it so i figured it couldn't be too bad. Little did I know what I was in for. When I got there and saw it in the garage I was awed by this beautiful muscle car. He took me for a ride and I have ben hooked since. For the past year and a half now he has been teaching me more and more about the little known world of Buicks.

Welcome aboard Johnny, I'm sure you'll find more information here than you can even begin to sort through. That's what makes this board great! So when are you going to find a matching 66 GS of your own? :Brow:

I would love to find one. But right now I am in college and that is most important right now. My Uncle does have a '65 Lesabre 4 door sedan he said he would give me just to restore. It seems like it would be a nice car, but not the muscle car I am looking for. I would like to find a matching GS though to be able to park next to his. But I just don't have the money.
