hello all, i have just joined the forum. it is a big relief to finally find a site such as this one. i was beinging to think i would never find i buick site. well just a short intro i have a 68 riv which i have had for about 5 yrs now, location of parts have been a pain in the butt. when i found this riv the owner said all it needed was a starter but to my surprise it needed a new engine, oh well. 2 months later got a reman engine in detriot it was a 430 bored over 30. present day: car has been sitting for over 2 yrs the engine doesnt have over 2k miles on it and i finally got some cash together so i am looking to get some help or advise on my riv. right now i have located a riv that is being parted out so i hope to take advatage of it. my first question is what should be my next move in restoring my riv. here is some stats on my riv: inteior mint, body solid, needs electrical work, needs new tires , new everything on engine, switched to internal regulator alternator, new reman distributor from 1970 riv with all accel componets. i would like to start fixing the suspension but i dont know where to buy the parts or what mods can be done to it. as a newbie i probably left out many important details sorry in advance :Comp:
