Hello- I am new to buicks and considering buying a 66 riviera. I have noticed that there are lots of parts availible for 68 and up and 63-65s. Does the 66 share body panels with another year or years. I am most interested in buying replacement trunk floor, both front fenders, deck lid ect.. Any info will help me decided if the 66 is the right year or if I should keep shoping for a different year. There is just something about the look of the 66 that I like. Thanks

    Welcome to V8buick! :beer

66' & 67' are almost identical. From the sound of the car your looking at, its rusty! Maybe you should consider passing on the car and look for one with a better body so you have a better start. But thats just me. If you like the looks of a particular year, dont let the ability to find parts drag you down. Goodluck :TU:

If you really want a Riviera join the ROA. There are some deals on what appear to be pretty nice cars in there. Wish I'd have checked it out.

My car is not for sale!

Just Kidding. Sounds like you just described my Riv. Its got some rust in the same areas, but nothing that cannot be fixed.
