Hi, this is really stupid but how do you take a driveshaft out of a car. Specifically off of the transmission. I need to take mine out and don't know how. The more detailed the instructions the better and pics are great. Thanks for any help
unbolt the driveshaft mount to the rear axle housing and then slide the whole driveshaft to the rear of the car. the trans yoke will slide right out. i suppose you could take the front u-joint apart, drop the shaft on the floor and then slide the trans yoke out if you want to.
