One sure can get busy in the garage through these long, cold, winter months up here in the North. Here's my new Stock Appearing 455 Stage 1 :Brow: . Looking forward to gettin her out to the track this spring/summer, after she loosens up a bit  That 110 fuel sure is pricey :Brow: . Joe X.
All In Now Thnx Bruce, Shirl, Casey, and Donny :TU: . It's up and running now, broke it in yesterday :beer . Just need some warmer weather now, about 500 or so miles on it, and it's HAMMER TIME  . Debut should be Buicks @ Norwalk in May :3gears: Joe X.
Thnx all for the compilments :TU: . No dyno on the engine, so not sure about horsepower or torque. Will have to see what the 1/4 mile tells. Doesn't look like I'll make Commerce, but might be able to do the Martin/131 race in June, and Pure Stock Race in Sept.. Brian, I think I want a rematch :Brow: . Joe X.
Yes Wayne, My car is a Pure Stocker for sure. No 11.02@127mph here :jd: . Sorry about the mispoke o No: . My cars weight was 4210lbs, with me in it, last Sep. at Stanton. 13.46@104.16mph was my best time then. It's loaded with heavy options; a/c, p/s, p/b, tilt wheel, cruise, front bench seat w/foldown armrest, etc. My goal this year is to dip into the 12's, and gain some mph. Can Pure Stockers, like myself, race at Martin in June, or is this a F.A.S.T. only race? I've driven past the track before. It looks really nice, right off the freeway. Thnx again everyone for the compliments :beer . Joe X.
Joe: Heck yeah the Pure Stockers are invited. We're officially the F/S Class at a F.A.S.T. event. I'll be there trying out my new combo too! F/S of course!
Must be contagious!! I am building up a new motor this winter also. I am taking out the original #s motor and building up a new motor and this time I wont leave any scraps on the table!!! :Brow: And it will certify!!! :bglasses: :Brow:  Jim
Careful Jimbo.....If your Bee get's any more "STOCKER" when you rebuild it you'll be into the 11's :Brow:
