I just published my first website last night. It has my 4 cars in their various stages during restoration. Includes a '64 skylark, '65 Special, '65 Skylark GS and '66 Skylark. Check it out at http://stonesautomotive.jxxtech.net
Brian, Thanks for the link.........The in progress shots of your 65 GS are very inspirational. NOTE TO SELF: Get back in the garage! :beer
Brian, I just got done viewing your website and I am quite impressed! You have done a VERY nice job restoring those Classics.:TU: Do you have any future plans for a "67"? You have a real nice collection, and should be very proud :Smarty:
I never had the car or engine on a dyno, but with a simulation program knowing the cam I have, the flow numbers from the heads, compression ratio, etc., we estimated it to be a little over 300hp. It is definitely the most powerful 300 I have every driven. No comparison between it and the '65 Special I have--it just has a mild cam and is basically stock otherwise--that white '64 will run circles around it. That picture of it doing the burnout was not provoked by dumping the clutch--I just stomped it in 1st gear.
