I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about the new Buick block that is to be released soon. It is supposed to be able to be bored and stroked to very large cubic inch numbers. Steve
Buick535 (jim burek) is heading up the iron block project, you could PM or email him here. TA Performance is working on an aluminum block project. TA Perf and TA Performance are user names here, or you could call Mike or Dave direct at TA. Best to get an update direct from the sources, I would think. I had thought that the iron block was scheduled for late spring 2003, but haven't heard anything specific for a while.
The Buick block is still in the works, the designer had to do some other smaller projects first in order to help fund the block project. What has come out already is a cadillac alum head, olds v-8 alum head, chrysler 440 alum head, and I believe several intake manifolds and other misc stuff.
