just had to show off the new toy, i mean shop tool...

This is the engine i took a chance on and bought a few years back in Wisc, which was a lead from the V8 board. When it was advertized the pic showed it in the back of a half ton, painted grey and it was hard to contact the fellow and he wanted all the money he had into it initially. I Sparked it up at Christmas and sounds fairly sweet & hope to dyno it along my JW trishield build so i can see what it is? Initially i purchased this for my Lark/X clone project but wasn't sure what i bought so decided on a build from JW which should be done soon.
I guess this one might end up in my tired 69 cat although the wife thinks its for the clone? Not sure when or how i'll tell her so hopefully i'll keep the engines separate and she won't be able to tell i have 2

I had been looking for an engine test stand and had taken pics at sema of some although i couldn't find any for sale there. Found these guys in Hemmings and is from Easy Run and figured my time would be better spent finishing my car than building a stand which prob would have been fairly straight forward.

Every few days i have to fire it up just keep the adrenaline flowing, if i can figure out how to utube a vid of it running i'll post it otherwise enjoy...Gord

This is a 70, 455 + .30 resurfaced / equal deck, with cast iron stage 1 valves and ported heads, ta timing cover with oiling mods done, Ta roller rockers 1.65 and 1.60 , speed pro pistons, etc...although not sure what cam?
