Excellent color combo for a convertible!:TU:Welcome to V-8 Buick and the wonderful world of Wildcats! :3gears:
Coffee milk... not everyone will get that. 4 all the way as well. A few years ago, I contacted Autocrat and ordered a case of Eclipse syrup. Gave 'em away as gifts. Now, I've got a bunch of native Kansans addicted to the stuff. Still trying to figure a way to get Del's Frozen Lemonade and an Awful Awful over here. Cheers, Joe
Well, they make the Del's lemonade in a kit now....add crushed ice or something.... and as far as Awful Awfuls, I can always ship ya some NC ice cream and those cups when your ready....I'm in the overnight shipping perishable business, so be glad to....just let me know! ( Gut Bombs too!)
Here is the Barrett Jackson link. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/1968-BUICK-WILDCAT-CONVERTIBLE-182425 Interestingly, in the "Details" it says engine size: 430, but in the narrative, it says 455.
Thanks Chris, it does have a 455 in it , doing some upkeep on her now, and should have her road ready come end of April early May... thanks for that ...best,Timmy
That is a very pretty 'Cat. I wonder if yours was built as a bucket seat/column shift car? I had a hardtop with buckets and console (floor shift) and really liked the idea of a really big car that thought it was a sports car. Your console looks like maybe Chevy? If you want to convert it to floor shift you should be able to source the console, shifter, and other parts here. The correct console even has a place for a tach if you want. Welcome and enjoy! Patrick
LOL  I was very discrete, yesterday I PM-ed Tim with he link to the auction, not sure if he wanted everybody to know about the price ou:
This car had also been listed on CL in CA in August of 2014, I remember it due to the Wildcat rear and Electra front. It was also erroneously advertised as a 67, and here is what the seller had included in his ad "67 buick wildcat conv,it was built at the end of 67 so it has 68 grill, tailights, dash from factory," Unfortunately I didn't save the rest of the ad.
