Hey all, I am new to the forum and I don't have a project yet but I am looking to find a 1970 GS 455 to restore in the near future. Jeremy
I live near Wausau, WI. Do you race at Kaukauna? I have been there a few times with my daughter racing her Jr. Dragster. Jeremy
I don't race there on a regular basis. I only go there a few times per year, usually to test and tune. I find the track to be too dirty with all the gravel in the pits, and besides I just can't get away every weekend in summer. A friend of mine (Dan Zepnick) races his 70 GS there every week. There are a few Buick folks that I know up your way. Welcome aboard!! Steve
My son goes to high school in Tomah. Best of luck in finding that dream. That's how it all starts, then the madness kicks in.......:Brow:
Welcome...we're neighbors:TU: And that's kinda funny, because I thought I knew all the Buick folk around here. Let me know if I can help in any way:3gears:
Good to see there are so many Buick people in my neck of the woods. You guys probably do know all of the Buick people in the area since I am new to this and don't even have my first car yet. I was hoping by coming on sites like this I could get to know some people who might be able to help me find my first car when the time comes. Jeremy
I know somebody who has a '70 Stage I sitting on a car trailer, outside, rotting away . . . :Brow:
Re: New to forum from Oregon Hi folks, another new guy. I've been a member for about 20 months, but I've just been reading what everyone has been up to. Learned some good stuff. I drive a 67 GS 340 and love every minute of it. Right now it is snowing here and the GS is in my shop for a few minor repairs. I just couldn't quit driving it till the weather ran me off the road. We don't get it out much in the winter. I also have a +67 skylark parts car that my wife is tired of looking at in the backyard so I've got to take it apart this winter. Butch
