new to forum 1963 wildcat

    i just got this car i still don't know much about it any hints or clues about this
    car(ex: what parts from other cars fit it) any specs its body tag on the driver side piller is 6j2013031 imnew to buicks so i dont know much about them. so any info is good

    '63 Wildcat's are sweet. What kind of shape is yours in?? They share a few parts with '63 LeSabres and Electras. '62 and '64 Wildcats also have a few of the same parts.

    Your VIN number is more useful in identifying your car.
    What have you got? 2dr? 4dr? Convert?
    There are several 63 Wildcat owners on here. One of us should be able to assist with advice and parts suggestions.

    its alll original has three dents and surface rust, not running great interior minus the headliner and nice exactly what parts

    Welcome aboard:TU: Looks like a decnt car to start with.
    A lot of parts will interchange with the 63 and 64 models. and glass from Chev, Olds, pontiacs. Any ?`s feel free to ask.

    thats becouse i dont have a camera only a cheapo camra fone

    ill be shure to take pictures whev i wor on her and ill post themm up and i willl forshure ask for any info. as of right now an one know any parts places i canorder from like macs or langs i think those two only do fords also the chrome around the tail light are they easy to find repro?buyable? or arethey junkyard run parts if so is the63 cat the onlyone wuth that kind of taillight?

    Welcome! It looks like a great car to start with. Virtually all 401 and 425 engine parts will interchange - except block and pistons. Some 364 parts will also interchange, but not intake manifolds.
