Has anyone tried to install a newer AT shifter (for TH350) in a 66 type console (mine is a 65 wildcat console but has the same design shifter as the riviera, GS shifter) If so what did you use without hacking up the console? Thanks Scott
I'm not 100% sure, but you might be able to get shifter parts from a chevy or a later model buick that will work. I'm certain I've seen the detent plate(?) with the extra spot for a 3 speed as well as an updated insert for the console that shows the PRNDL2L1. Maybe yearone?
