I just bought a brand new sending unit AC Delco. I thought when I did one a couple of years ago when I moved the float you could hear and feel it slide on something. This one moves pretty free and looking in the hole there does not appear to be a whole lot of contact between the contactor and that spring looking cord. Is this normal? Appreciate the help hate to put it in only to find not working.
