Just wanted to say hello to every Buick lover here.Very soon( i hope that ship wont sink on Atlantic Sea...)i will get the Rivi in my hands. I am happy that i have found that forum for all that knowledge it contains...and lots of ppl who are ready to help :beers2:
its 1000 $$ for ship and 7% for tax since its historical car, and and i guess another 1000$$ for a guy who found car and is organizing all shipmentso No:
Well, that's not too bad, I suppose. I figured it would be more than that. What year Riviera is that exactly?
Its 66 with 425 and some nice options, from what i noticed so far it has finned valve covers, power windows, AC,and central console rest i will know when it will arrive
Welcome ! Nice Riviera Lucy Fair, check out the Riviera Owners Association (ROA) when you get a chance - www.rivowners.org Lotsa Riviera lunatics all over the world ! :beer :TU:
Kacper: Poland is LPG country, so converting that Riviera to run on LPG will save you a lot of money :TU: Let me know if you want information about the systems we use here in the Netherlands. You have to replace the valve seats for hardened seats suitable for non-leaded fuel, but you can also install a Flash-Lube system.
I know Poland is LPG place but: 1. This wont be a daily driver( for that i use lil 1.4 litre diesel). 2. I am mechanist and i can see every day how troublesome is using LPG(worn engine, rusted exhaust etc, etc...and remeber that LPG has 70C degree higher burn temperature than gasoline). 3. Gas(LPG) is nice for boiling water, lightning up ur ciggies or other goodies if you know what i mean^^ . So i guess i will rather stay on gasoline:bla: . Anyway thanks for a warmy welcome.:beer
That's why I offered you to provide you info about our systems. The Dutch are the world leaders in LPG innovation. The LPG technology used in Poland (and also in Germany) is not really of a smart design.. By saying "Poland is LPG country", I was on about the fact that you can buy it everywhere, not that you lot have a clue about what you are doing when converting cars to run on LPG. 70 Centigrades higher.......that says it all for the Polish know-how
Hey man was it hard to get wheels that size to fit??? what specs are they? BY the way Thats mean!:kodak:
You can be mean, ksenofobic or whatever u like...( i know you ppl from big world think bad about us Polish...i am not goin to change this), i rly dont care. However i appreciate your will to share your LPG knowledge to me, i can always learn something valuable:Smarty: .But again when they where inventing internal combustion engines they did it for gasolineo No: . And i really prefer to smell gas fumes than LPG ones. If u are so kind to share some LPG knowledge with me here is my email: lucyferek@citroenspecial.pl Peace:3gears:
