New ride for the summer

    70 skylark with 455, runs and drives, cannot find any rust in the body, definitely a blank canvas, any ideas on colors and wheels?

    I have just drove it up and down the driveway (600') so not sure about the ventilation system but I expect it to be great

    A friend of my son's had it and started parting it out, by the time I found out about it this is what is left (I had to bring the wheels)

    You should weld up a cage on it and drive it. Man, that would get some funny looks.

    Do you know how bad of condition was it before the kid parted it?

    yes and no, the car was supposed to be restored at some point but was in a garage that caught on fire. So I never saw the car in person before the part out began. Engine sounds really good, no knocks or rattles.
