Hi Folks, Our Apollo reset it's quickest run last night at Atco. Scary part was that I was even driving. In the semi's of our Stock/Super Stock event, I went 11.456. That was the good news as I went red and lost to Mark Faul of Washington State who is staying with us while in the area. This was with Bristol tune-up... If we would have fattened it up.........????? We had great air at Atco, NJ!!! :beer
:beer What was the DA? I always liked Atco better than e-town and the track prep is a thousand times better. I always get personal bests down there:grin:
The DA for the last few rounds was -200'..!!! I was the first car down the track.. Prep??? I spun and lost .35 in 60 feet... Traction got better.. Mark's rig is currently in my yard. He'll be heading to Atlanta this evening.
Isaac How much gear do you run? I believe I saw that your Car has gone in the 1.4's for 60' Probably bums out some of the Big Block Guys.....
We have a 4.56 gear in the car with a 2.75 first in the trans. I think our best 60' is 1.480. I was 1.487 this weekend footbraking the car. It's usually a little better when using the "Two-step". I have trouble remembering to let go of the button..... If we would have but the "B" hanger in the secondaries instead of the "K" we might have been in the 11.30's.... :bglasses:
