So on thursday I replace the plug wires on the driver's side. It gets dark so I cant finish the job until afterwork on friday. The car, a 1993 roadmaster, runs much better (more power and smooth) with the 4 new wires. Now with all new wires I'm getting a rough idle and rough acceleration. Any Comments? How should I smooth things over? (the wires and plugs are correctly matched)

There is always a chance that you have a new bad wire....but, I would double, triple, and quadruple check the wires that you put on for being on the right plug. I don't know how many times I have slipped and put a wire on the wrong plug.....it's too easy to do.

sounds like you put the wrong wire on 2 plugs, it can happen. Check the firing order.

I'm with Mike and Larry, I've put them in the wrong order on a few occasions.
