new paint questions

just got my car back today from shop..torch red...it has been painted for about 1 month now and how long do i wait till i wax it..or do i even wax it?...i heard it takes off the clear which i do not want...and what is the best way/materials to keep it looking good..(will be stored outside under a $200 cover..all i can offord)

With today's clears you can wax it when you want to. As for cover's the best I have found are the Budge Tyvek, size K4, at WalMart for $40. Don't waste you money on those Technalon versions, they don't last and are way overpriced.

 

u might want to place a flannel bedsheet over the car before installing a car covert.

 

A month should be enough time for the paint to cure

the cover i bought was on jegs..techlon cover..best they got since i have no garage....should i also use a tarp over the cover for extra protection...ooo and i do not have grills so it sucks more
