    stagedgs 1967 GS400

    Location is Mason, Michigan

These shocks were installed on my '67 GS but they did not work out for my application. I moved the lower shock attaching point up (on my rearend) to clear my wheels and the shocks landed up being too long. The shocks were installed but no road miles were put on them. There are a some chips in the paint but that is it.

To see a list of applications that these shocks fit please click on this link.

These shocks are made by Monroe. I paid $23each for the shocks, I am selling the pair for $30 plus shipping.

    Thanks,

These shocks sell under the Monroe Sensa-Trac Passenger Car Shock brand part #5802. From the Monroe website:
"The Monroe Sensa-Trac passenger car shock absorber with PSD (position sensitive damping) and the Safe Tech system combines our exclusive precision tapered grooves in the pressure tube with application engineered valving and Fluon banded piston to improve the ride, handling, and safety characteristics of the vehicle. These features allow the Monroe Sensa-Trac passenger car shock absorber to adjust more rapidly to changing road and weight conditions than any other available shock absorber.
All Weather Fluid: Contains special modifiers to reduce friction and ensure smooth rod reaction.
Full Displaced Valving: Tuned specifically for each application, this valving automatically adjusts to road extremes to provide consistency and ride
Fluon Banded Piston: The fluon band provides consistent sealing between the piston and pressure tube which delivers better control and increased durability.
1-3/16 inch Bore: Larger bore than most shocks to provide more efficient and consistent control.
Unique Groove Tube - PSD: Precision tapered grooves in the pressure tube perform like an additional stage of valving for optimum ride tuning.
Nitrogen Gas Charged: For improved ride and handling, helps maintain tire to road contact by reducing aeration - on most applications
1/2inch Diameter Piston Rod: Nitrocarburized rod for long service life. On non-dust shield units only.
Special Seal: 'Self-lubricating' fluid seal designed to retain gas without excessive wear or friction."

    Thanks,
