Interested, does it have the spring kit and gasket/seal in the box?

Dont think I saw anything else in the box, but I will check tonite. If not, then my presumption of completeness is inaccurate.

the box had nothing other than what is shown in the pics. I have edited the original post to reflect this. The good news is that the recurve kit and gasket are not expensive and are available online. So which one of you racers wants this beauty?

Harold Keep in mind you will have to run an MSD ignition box with this as it is not a stand alone unit.

Yep, Chris I was aware of that! Thanks for watching my back tho!
I tried one of the MSD Ready To Run billet ditributors on my Ford 390 in the shop truck, and went thru 4 of them before giving up. All quit within a few hundred miles...just up and quit. MSD was very helpful in troubleshooting over the phone, it was the built in module that quit everytime.
Keep in mind each time you ship one back to MSD (Texas) for repair the vehicle sits for 6 weeks or so.
Also during this time a buddy bought one from Summit, installed it on his '66 Mustang, and guess what! Yep lasted less than a month and quit! He didn't even call MSD. He just sent it back to Summit and replaced it with one of Summit's China made units and it's been running ever since!
Bottom line is I wouldn't touch MSD's Ready To Run stuff with a 10 ft pole!
BTW I bought a Davis Unified Distributor for the Ford, nice piece and you can buy replacement parts ( haven't needed to!) at any parts store as it's based on the GM HEI!
OK long ramble to reply to you Chris, MSD gave me a MSD 6 box for all my trouble shipping 4 distrib's back to them, so yes I have a box to run the distributor from Dave!:beers2:
